By focusing on bringing high-powered, integrated and easy-to-use media playback to the customer while maintaining the proven reliability and quality of the previous products, the PN-ME series gives customers a reliable mainstream display to fit all of their digital signage needs. The flexible system-on-chip platform not only allows for high-end media playback via USB or internal storage but since these products are powered by Android 13, they also allow the ability to install separate Android Package Kit's (APK) if a third-party application needs to be installed. On top of this, the updated OSD design includes new and legacy functionality within a brand new aesthetically appealing and stylistic approach.

High-End Visual Detail
By supporting native 3840 x 2160 resolution with full HDR compatibility across the entire PN-ME series lineup, imagery and messaging will be more vivid and lifelike than ever before! On top of that, the new high haze, anti-glare panels scatter incidental light that would otherwise take away from messaging shown on the display. This allows your message to be clear and visible in areas where ambient light would usually take away from what really matters most – your content.

Full Commercial Build Quality
Full metal chassis allows for the ruggedness needed for true commercial environments while integrated carrying handles reduce the likelihood of damage during installation. Furthermore, an integrated temperature sensor allows you to monitor internal temperatures in real time. The newly designed mechanical build focuses on maintaining reliability while reducing the overall weight of each model compared to predecessor models. These units are up to 33% lighter than previous models. Additionally, these products have an even bezel design along all four sides meaning that the focus will always be on the content on the screen when in either portrait or landscape orientation.

Home Screen Launcher

The MultiSync PN-MExx2 products boot up into a home screen that gives you visual access to app, key settings and input changes right from the start. Integrated web browser functionality can be used for internet access and streaming and File Explorer can be used for navigating through internal or external storage drives. The integrated Media Player gives you access to load files to internal storage or play via USB while content can be scheduled and playlists can be built dependent on when your display is running and what content needs to be shown.

Integrated USB Hub
Each PN-MExx2 product contains an integrated USB hub where the USB-C input not only allows for DP-Alt mode capabilities but also provides an upstream data connection. This can be coupled with a USB-A downstream connection in order to allow for control over whatever peripherals are connected into this terminal. This integrated feature helps reduce the cost of supplies needed to achieve this type of configuration.

Center IR Receiver
An IR receiver is located behind the panel allowing protective overlays or touch to be integrated over the top without needing to worry about how to extend IR for control.

Input Detect Functionality
This feature allows for the display administrator to prioritize up to 3 inputs so that if a primary source goes down, the display will automatically switch to whatever the customer has prioritized next. The first detect option also allows for the display to automatically turn onto any source that plugs into it, allowing the display to wake on any synced signal.

Control Protocol Support
The new Sharp MultiSync PN-MExx2 contains protocol support for both Sharp and NEC legacy products. This means that if you have to replace either a Sharp or NEC product from a previous install, these units can be seamlessly integrated into an existing infrastructure. On top of this, these units support other various protocols dependent on the needs of the application.

Integrated Media Player

Build playlists, schedule and play content through high-end integrated media player via integrated storage or USB.

NaViSet Administrator
NaViSet Administrator 2TM is included in all Sharp MultiSync PN-MExx2 models. This software is an all-in-one remote support solution that runs from a central location and provides monitoring, asset management and control functionality of Sharp and NEC display devices and Windows computers. It is ideal for multi-device installations over arrays as it allows for task management, reporting and on-demand control options.
