Steingraeber uniquely reduced the surface of the treble soundboard, restoring its ‘classical relationship’ to the short treble strings. This design allows 27% less wood to be set in motion, producing an immediate, singing resonance even under soft playing.
With Pianoteq 9, the E-272 benefits from the new audio engine, delivering rich, evolving tones with enhanced spatial depth and a lifelike, organic character. Expressive “Sombre” presets provide silken tones for cinematic or intimate performances, while refreshed Binaural presets ensure an immersive headphones experience.
