Graphics Requirements:
For GPU Raytracing, Autodesk recommends the use of the following NVIDIA® driver versions. Larger scenes require 8GB or more GPU memory.
- Windows NVIDIA driver requirements:
- v.2025.3 requires an RTX 551.23 or above for RGB raytracing and spectral raytracing
- v.2025.1 - 2025.2 requires an RTX 536.67 or above for RGB raytracing and 551.23 for spectral raytracing
- v.2025 requires an RTX 527.41 or above
IMPORTANT: To use DLSS RR, you will need the NVIDIA driver v.537.13 or above; otherwise, VRED will default to the DLSS from version 2024.1.
- Linux NVIDIA driver requirements:
- v.2025.3 requires an RTX 550.54 or above for RGB raytracing and spectral raytracing
- v.2025.1 - 2025.2 requires an RTX 535.86 or above for RGB raytracing and 550.54 for spectral raytracing
- v.2025 requires an RTX 525.60 or above
VR/XR Requirements
For VR/XR, the minimum requirements regarding runtimes are the following:
- SteamVR 2.5.5 or above for HMDs with SteamVR (OpenVR, OpenXR)
- VarjoBase 4.3.1 or above for Varjo HMDs with Varjo Base (Varjo native mode, OpenXR)
- Meta Quest Link App 65.0.0.499.343 or above for Meta/Oculus HMDs with Meta Quest Link App (OpenXR)
- VIVE XR Elite requires VIVE Business Streaming v.1.15.11c and the VIVE business Streaming App v.1.0.21.14
